Individual Task 3 – Ethical principles

1.) Define the term ‘moral integrity’ The term moral intergrity is basically moral philosophy,your values. Also beliefs and Your consience.2.) Describe why Maximillian Kolbe is regarded as a Christian of exemplary moral integrity. Because everything Maximillian Kolbe done was done because of his morals, beliefs and conisence which was christanity.

3.) Outline Maximillians ethical actions/principles that he demonstrated in Auschwitz. He stole food to feed the hungry,He continued to support and guide his fellow prisnors that the suffering will end, He sacrefieced himself.

4.) Evaluate whether you think he made the right decision and provide research to support your answer. i.e. Catholic teachings. I think his decision was right because in the bible it sayd you should put other before yourself which is what he done.eg http://www.biblegateway.com/

2.) How has digital media evolved over the last 5-10 years? It has evolved over the last years because of technology and the way the world is changing.

Journal 8

Scenario 1: You are on a train coming home from a day at the beach. The train stops at a station and a group a youths get on the train and start bashing an elderly ethnic man. You notice people getting off the train.Discuss what you would do in this situation. In this situation i would get the people getting of the train to go get the station gaurd because my consience would tell me that i would not be able to tae them. Scenario 2: You get a message from a girl that you are interested asking you to come over her house. When you get there a number of her friends are present and they say they are bored. One of them promotes the idea of going for a walk and causing a riot. At first you tell them “No way”. However, the girl you like states that “she will like you more if you go”.Discuss what you would do in this situation. In this situation i would try and talk them out of it and provide new ideas that are fun but not doing bad.

Describe what is a person’s ‘conscience’.

a persons consience is a hypthesised action that points out whether your action is right or wrong.

Describe how a persons conscience works in making moral decisions. Explain the relationship between religion and conscience.

A persons consience can help them to make the right decision, because they might be confused what to do but there consience will help.

The difference between consience and religion is religion you know there is a punishment for doing the wrong thing but it can be forgiving and consience is  you might not know what the punishment is so it helps you in decidng.

Population and AREA of AUSTRALIA!

The Australian population hit 21 million on June 29, 2007, seconds after 9.33pm, Australian eastern standard time. The population milestone announced by the Australian Bureau of Statistics was based on the estimated resident population on December 31, 2006, and assumed growth since then of one birth every 1 minute and 56 seconds, one death every 3 minutes and 59 seconds, and a net gain of one international migrant every 3 minutes and 15 seconds, leading to an overall total population increase of one person every 1 minute and 45 seconds.

The Australian population is growing quickly: Australia’s population has increased each year since the end of World War II, due to a combination of high post-war fertility and high levels of migration. In 1901, 23% of Australia’s population was born overseas. By 1947 the proportion of the overseas-born population had declined to 10%. Each year more and more people come over to Australia and start families so it is slowly growing ad by 2015 we are looking towards 24 million people.

Total: 7,686,850 sq km land: 7,617,930 sq km water: 68,920 sq km note: includes Lord Howe Island and Macquarie Island Australia’s total area has always been the same but that is not the same for the available land with the population increase this means more houses, which is taking away the land. We need this land the flora and floura.

1. How is the research going? The research is  going well we have all parts for each person that we have to research and i think everyone is doing there part. We have to look further into want they want us to change so we can give as much info as possible.

2. What do you know about imovie? What other multimedia possibilities have you considered for your presentation? i do not know that much about i movie but another person in my group does so he is going to teach me.We can alos you’s other posibilities like paint shop and web 2.0. All these types of multimedia are updated.

1. How will you organise your multimedia sales pitch?  the siteList ideas, think about how the entry document was presented.We need tyo make ours the most updated and newest so that people will understand also we could make some videos of people smiling and enjoying the document as supplementary material.

Complete all preliminary research this week (9.1 and 9.2- 9.3-9.6 see teacher for deadline)

Familiarise yourself with possible multimedia techniques like ‘imovie’ or photoshop etc.
